Our goal is to assist real estate experts in digitizing their properties while ensuring that their documents and data remain traceable. Our approach involves collaborating closely with these professionals, preserving their expertise while adding ours.

This partnership will enable them to compete against our competitors who want to replace them by relying solely on Smart Contracts to automate property transactions. We invite you to explore the various stages of our detailed roadmap, which outlines parts of our vision and strategy for achieving this critical mission.

1. Certificates Grades & Public Infra Finalization

We create public certificates containing relevant information about the properties, expert grades (architects and investment professionals), and inhabitants’ grades. Grades are either audits or honest reviews giving an idea of the current state of the property. Relevant information, including public documents tied to the property, will be freely accessible from the Estatepedia.

The Public Infrastructure will also undergo improvements to optimize the minting process and incorporate technological advancements to allow synergy with the Private Infrastructure. These changes will also ensure the effective use of the minting app as a base for the pro app.

2. Private Infrastructure

At Etherland, we understand the importance of keeping your personal information safe and secure.

That’s why we’ve created an encrypted vault built on our IPFS Infrastructure that allows property owners to store their documents and data decentralized and securely.

This Private Infrastructure is the core technology of our B2B and retail products, ensuring that your data is protected from malicious actors. We believe privacy is a fundamental right and are committed to safeguarding our B2B and B2C users’ information.

3. Partner Agencies & Pro App

To digitalize in the most efficient way possible, we need to partner with established real estate professionals and deliver a tool they can use to make documents and data immutable while drastically enhancing the process. It also enables us to benefit from their already-established legal document verification processes, especially in countries with demanding legal setups.

To help smoothen the process, we will provide a professional application for our partner agencies, with authenticated access and login via web3 linked to the certificate’s smart contract and private filesystem. The Pro App will be hosted on local servers for regional support and better connectivity.

4. Custom Marketplace

Our custom marketplace will be designed to combine all our collections, such as legacy, certificates, and DAO, in one convenient location.

With the help of OpenSea’s SDK, we can customize the product pages and integrate app components like our Private Filesystem or the Mapbox Cadaster as a bridge between products.

This ensures all users can access every product and functionality while raising the interoperability standard. At Etherland, we believe that convenience is critical, and our custom marketplace will be built with that in mind.

5. 3D Rendering Team & Estatepedia JS

To help users better visualize how space is organized or to remotely visit a property, 3D modeling, or Building Information Modeling (BIM), as most professionals call it, is becoming necessary. But we have a precise process to do it the best way possible.

By hiring a mixed team of architects and game designers, we combine the bests skills from both to have an output quality never seen in the industry. In fact, architects are experts at raising 3D walls from 2D plans, representing how the space is laid out and its purpose, lighting, and other strategic aspects. At the same time, game designers are experts at texturing and rendering inside virtual game-like 3D environments.

Additionally, we will upgrade the Estatepedia to a JS website to enable it to become an interactive platform adapting its output content to the user’s authentication level and integrating the grading and document retrieving functionalities. Two service adhesion options will appear, one subscription-based and the other based on One-Time Purchases.

6. DAO & Web Bounties

To allow the community to feel involved in the decisions of the project, we will create a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) where our users will have the right to vote, allowing them to decide on strategic orientations for the legacy Etherland collection and its development. On top of releasing a new DAO collection, we will also bring utility to the legacy collection by introducing a voting power algorithm based on the country of the NFT.

Our web-based bounty billboard is meant to incite people to exchange their skills against rewards. Users will be able to create bounties asking for content for their NFTs against a reward in ELAND, and others will undertake them from the billboard after reviewing the conditions. The home page will display previews of earnings waiting to be claimed, and a dedicated earnings page will allow users to collect their earnings daily.

7. Mapbox GL JS

In the prevision of our Mobile App version 2.0 and our cadaster, we must create a custom map integrating data elements from all our digitalized Landmarks and properties. The amount of information displayed about tokenized places will depend on their category. For example, there will be far more information on the map and the pop-ups for properties in the Landmarks than in the Residential category.

As the primary goal is to support the Landmarks collection and subsequent mobile application, the filter will be set by default on “Landmarks”. Some basic cadastral features will be already implementable at this stage, like land plot isolation, but will be thoroughly addressed later down the roadmap.

8. User Tokenization Moderator & Legal Teams Creation

We will create a team of User Tokenization Moderators ahead of opening tokenization to retail users; to ensure they submit no harmful or hateful content. The purpose of the User Tokenization Moderator is primarily to verify the information that users submit.

The Legal Teams will be deployed depending on the state where we work. For instance, it will only be possible in countries where legal property documents are public, like France. We can work with legal professionals or hire local citizens with experience in the fields we are involved in, either at the state or individual level.

9. Mobile App 2.0

The Mobile App 2.0 will have the same base functionalities as the current app, such as the map and AR catching game. But this version will incorporate all the data on Landmarks from the legacy collection and enable users to walk through a city while learning more about the surrounding monuments with the AR mode.

On top of that, it will integrate new priorities, such as the bounties system and a creation tool. The idea is for the app to be a pocket update tool for the bounty hunter. The user will be able to undertake a bounty and plan his content hunt at home on his computer, then head outside and add information to the draft with his phone. The creation tool will allow users to start a Landmark tokenization draft from their phone while traveling in an Ingress beta fashion.

10. Mapbox Cadaster Evolution

Our Mapbox Cadaster Evolution aims to push the integration of traditional cadastral features further, looking ahead to integration or even replacement of legacy services.

In fact, as a data storing platform, we have a wealth of information that we can display over the classic land plot and surface provided by current state-digitalized cadasters like France’s. This will even allow us to combine our modern satellite mapping data with legacy paper-based documents for better accuracy and traceability. It will prove to be great for tracking the evolution of certain zones and greatly facilitate urban planning.

11. Partnership with Legal Entities

There are numerous perspectives on partnerships with legal entities such as state-operated ones. But the most important part is data perseveration, especially considering the high number of properties a government owns and maintains. A great example of this is social housing, where most of the issues we resolve are commonplace and cost an absolute fortune to the state every year.

There is also a perspective on cadaster digitalization. States without cadasters have already mentioned their interest in using ready-to-use solutions, so we will naturally reach out to suggest integrations with our own.

12. Unreal Engine Cultural Metaverse

Our vision for the Unreal Engine Cultural Metaverse is to create an immersive experience that enables players to explore the monuments of the Lost Worlds and learn about their historical significance.

We will rely on our skilled 3D modeling team to create the 2D visuals beforehand to achieve this. The last steps will involve designing and detailing the interior spaces and adding small elements such as pots, chairs, rugs, and painted pieces. We plan to collaborate with specialized game designers and architects to ensure that the layouts and lighting of the interior spaces are of the finest quality, as well as historians for the accuracy of the representations.
